West Allis, WI (PRWEB) July 6, 2010

Solaris, Inc., the leader in nighttime lymphedema management, is excited to launch three new colors for Tribute custom lymphedema garments: Teal, Maroon, and Royal Blue.

Tribute custom lymphedema garments have become a staple of a successful at-home lymphedema management program for patients and therapists from around the world, that enjoy the therapeutic benefits, custom fit, and unrivaled ease of use of Tribute. Now people living with lymphedema can sleep soundly in style as well.

Following the success of Solaris’ charitable pink fabric launch last October, Solaris immediately went to work examining more color options to offer to lymphedema patients and other individuals that live with swelling. After months of research, surveying people across the United States, and tireless fabric testing to ensure the perfect pigment, the colors were finally ready.

Beginning July 1st, Tribute users will be able to lend some color to their night and express themselves however they see fit – whether in the simplicity of Black, the warmth of Pink, the boldness of Teal, the style of Maroon, or the serenity of Royal Blue.

The new colors will also be manufactured with the same comfortable fabric that Tribute users already know and love and will offer the same wickable and breathability as well. For more information on Tribute custom lymphedema garments or to find a reseller in your area, please visit www.solarismed.com, or call 888-918-9180.

These new colors will be available wherever Tributes are sold. Internationally, Tributes are currently available in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, South Korea, Japan and the Netherlands. To find contact information on how to purchase a Tribute in these countries, please visit the International section of Solaris’ “find a retailer” page on the Solaris website.

About Solaris

Solaris has been developing and manufacturing therapeutic and compression garments for 10 years and has quickly established itself as the leader in nighttime lymphedema management. Solaris’ Tribute garments are warranted for a full year and use proven components to keep patients comfortable and free from worry. Solaris prides itself on constantly improving its products based on patients’ and medical professionals’ comments and suggestions.

 Sun Solaris Blade Operating System

Sun Blade system is great for businesses that require high performance data on multiple computers connected to a network. This new technology has put Sun back on the “map” in the computer server world. It has given businesses the power and technology to drive high data tasks at super fast speed and effectiveness not seen before.

Solaris operating system runs on all Sun Blade servers. While the classic Solaris has been a closed source project, Sun decided to go on making it open source and distribute it on the free market. Matching up the Solaris operating system with the new Sun Blade servers was a perfect fit for Sun as well as consumers, because Solaris has been touted as the most advanced OS on the planet.

Because there are many computers in a network with the Sun Blade server, the Solaris operating system running the server makes sense. Safety is of utmost importance for most businesses. Solaris operating system comes with some of the most advanced security technology in the PC market. Having this kind of guarantee you can safely deliver new solutions, consolidate data, and protect sensitive information on computer system.

Solaris operating system provides optimized network stack and provides excellent support for today’s advanced network computing protocols. It delivers high-performance networking to most applications without modification. Solaris offers dramatic advances in file system and volume management by delivering virtually unlimited capacity and near zero administration.

Oracle and HP makes a deal for Solaris on ProLiant

In this story from earlier this week when IBM announced that they would stop selling Solaris 10 on its System x rack and BladeCenter blade servers, a few comments appeared showing to Joerg Moellenkamp c0t0d0s0.org’s blog post claiming that HP had renegotiated his contract Solaris distro.
Reg contacted Oracle for confirmation of this and was accused, as usual, and after three days all that HP will say is: “HP is committed to helping customers manage and transform their IT environments, and we always consider partner relationships that support this. We will share more details about Solaris support in the future. “

Well, in about 16 hours, when it appeared.

So Oracle is trying to trick the HP Solaris (<a rel = "nofollow" onclick = "javascript: pagetracker._trackpageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link');" href = "http://www.ibuynow.com.au/battery-info.php/hp+laptop-battery"title =" hp laptop battery "> HP laptop battery ) 10 OEM contract back in May or early June (the exact time was never made clear) was less about being in HP Unix business, in competition with Solaris, and more about HP peddling the Oracle operating system and virtualization stack. Some Oracle HP clearly wanted to do, and something that HP must have balked at, or it would not have gotten their OEM agreement yanked in the first place.

The Oracle database is running a large share of the midrange and high-end server sales and Solaris may be running more than a few sales ProLiant, HP Oracle only push so far.

If you read the text in the Oracle announcement carefully, it says that Dell and HP will validate and resell Oracle’s Solaris, Enterprise Linux, and the World Cup in addition to Oracle’s leading support contracts for these products. It is not clear how support money is carved up, and who pays for the certification. Dell , HP, and Oracle representatives were not available for comment at El Reg went to press. Presumably the terms of OEM contracts are different – and probably will favor Oracle – or the Sun contract would have continued in force.

The current Dell PowerEdge Operating System support matrix shows the Dell support Solaris 10 Update 6 and 7 in a mixture of the current shipping Xeon and Opteron rack servers with Update 8 will only be available in the PowerEdge R910. Dell also has Solaris 10 Update 7 documented on the M605, M610, M710, M805, M905, and blade servers with Update 6 on the three Opteron-based machines and update 8 on some of the leaves. No Dell tower servers have ever been certified to run Solaris 10 as far as we know, and yet it can happen if customers request it.

Over at HP (<a rel = "nofollow" onclick = "javascript: pagetracker._trackpageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link');" href = "http://www.ibuynow.com.au/"title =" hp laptop battery "> HP Battery ), ProLiant operating system compatibility matrix has Solaris 10 June Updates, 7 and 8 on ProLiant G5, G6 and G7 rack (DL) and leaf (BL) servers and two tower boxes as well. Older Solaris 10 releases dating back to 2006 and 2007 have a superficial knowledge of support, even on older iron.

Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 has a thinner support, as you can see here. HP Certified OEL on selected ProLiant back in 2006 and gradually extended support through 2007.

Now that HP and Dell are certifying and supporting Solaris 10 on their x64 platforms, the part of Solaris customer base that was running on x64 iron off the Sun / Oracle fold will no doubt let out a sigh of relief.

We specialize in replacement batteries (<a rel = "nofollow" onclick = "javascript: pagetracker._trackpageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link');" href = "http://www.ibuynow.com.au/battery-brand.php/laptop-battery"title =" laptop battery "> laptop battery <a rel =" nofollow "onclick =" javascript: pagetracker._trackpageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link '); "href ="http://www.ibuynow.com.au/"title =" digital camera battery "> Digital Camera Battery <a rel =" nofollow "onclick =" javascript: pagetracker._trackpageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link'); "href ="http://www.ibuynow.com.au/battery-brand.php/power-tools-battery"title =" power tool battery "> power tool battery ) and battery packs for notebook computers, camcorders, digital cameras, PDAs, mobile phones and power tools, etc. as well as battery chargers!
