So if I don’t have a data plan now, and I get this phone off of eBay, I can activate it online and Verizon won’t make me sign up for a data plan?

@SillyBoBilly23 the verizon palm only comes in cobalt blue, but you can go on ebay and buy another color housing.

This phone is CDMA, not GSM. So, there is no SIM card slot in it. Sorry. Still really good little phone!

I have been able to figure out how to get music onto the P Tunes, but have not been able to figure out how to set them as a ringtone. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks for the hardware review. I am testing a Centro at the moment with 2 weeks remaining on a 30 day trial run w/verizon. The cost for me is 0.00 cause of upgrade and VIP $50 credit. It’s a great value for me and trying to see all the potential of the phone. I keep wondering if the BB curve is a better set up? Your thoughts and the TLOS (is that the right acronym?) launcher and software review. I’m not a media nut, wanted phone to read pdf files, create, and edit docs without lugging laptop

I believe if you take a new 2 year contract with Verizon, the Centrpo is $49. However, as I stated in the videos, you can go on E-Bay and get the phone through an individual or wholesaler as I did for between $60 used to $150 new and that is without a contract to Verizon!! I love texting with the phone. The keys are small, but very easy to negotiate due to the raised textured keys. I am very happy with the phone even compared to the Verizon XV6900 that I also own.
Hope I helped and God Bless!
