I have owned this TV for about 5 months and I am very impressed with this TV and have a lot of good things to say about it. I currently have this TV hooked to my wall and most often when looking at around a distance of 12 feet which I think is a good distance for a 46-inch TV. I also use this TV as a monitor for a home theater PC that looks just as good as my computer screen for others, if not better. The only reason I do not give this TV 5 stars because of the integrated speakers

    PROS

screen matte finish (dramatically reduces glare, which is a big plus when viewing in a room with many windows)

Built-in Video Up-scalar is great (I’m still impressed when watching DVD movies and DVD.)

    Energy (only 230 watts input)

weight (weight without booth is less than 50 lbs, which is light enough to carry me into the wall by myself)

HDMI connections (3 HDMI connections seem good enough for devices that I have currently)

60,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (two times better than the previous model)

    CONS

Integrated speakers (Speakers began to rattle and buzz after the volume was adjusted to about 50. I would recommend a challenge of home audio if you want to get film experience Complete)

Component video connections (I had to buy a switch component that could handle my component connections from my Wii, Playstation and DVD player)

This is my 3rd HDTV as buying a certain way I have been informally designated the HDTV guru of my friends and family. I did a lot of research (about 3 years worth). I became very familiar with the market and HDTV HDTV brands and what they offer, the advantages and disadvantages of each, etc.

    For info:
In Today is probably the best I have ever seen the market for HDTV buying an HDTV.

Amazon is by far the best source to make your decision HDTV purchase for several reasons.
    1. Reliable Customer Service
    2. No Sales Tax
    3. Premium extended warranty is far better and cheaper than in brick and mortar stores.
    4. Reviews are extrememly helpful for people who have already bought the TV in May out something you may not have thought.
    5. Free Shipping

My previous purchases (all purchased from Amazon):
    1. Sony KDL-40V2500 (for me)
    2. Sony KDL-40S5100 (To a friend) (Sony and had contacted the post as a USB flash drive (free) with preloaded firmware update and have not had any problems since)
    3. LN46B530 (For my grandfather) (do NOT touch of red because I think the feature is ugly)
    4. I installed the setup for HDTV and countless other friends and family members that I did not buy.

But enough about that, lets take a look at the Samsung LN46B530 shall we?
PRICE WAS AWESOME, under $ 850 for a 46 “1080p Samsung? Where do I sign?”
Out of the box printing is quite normal, the packaging is abundant and where the television is well protected for shipping. The panel itself is not reflective which is great. For those of you who may not have thought about it, Most HDTV’s are incredibly polished and look great in the store, however, when you go home what happens is that a window or lamp brings a glow in the middle or half the screen. Believe me, May not be very big of a deal at first, but after one day, as day after day after day, it becomes very boring.

One thing I noticed is the power cord supplied with the TV is not very long, maybe 5. 5 – Tops 6ft. No worries, all you have to do if you need a power cord longer is go here:
Belkin 12ft AC Replacement Power Cord (AC Male to AC Female) and it works very well.

The TV stand that the is accompanied by beautiful and strong and swivels from left to right. There are no entries on the TV side, but the controls are on television the lower right side of the TV is good if you either Wall mount or use the provided stand. is very convenient if you do not find the remote. Conversely, some TVs on the buttons are on top of the TV could create headaches if the TV is wall mounted.

Remember that this TV is brilliant throughout, except the screen so dust will be a weekly chore to take care of Nice. Remember, DO NOT use Windex or alcohol or soap and water to clean the display screen. A SLIGHTLY soft cotton cloth moistened with a little water clears the screen very well. There are cleaner alternatives HDTV but I recommend against him. The TV does come with a small microfiber cloth dust, this is also ideal for use, however, keep it dry. The shiny surfaces around the TV are fingerprint magnets.

Unlike other reviews, I found the internal speakers of the TV to be satisfactory and no hum, even at maximum volume. Granted the TV does not have much bass, but I really did not fiddle with the volume controls a lot. Of course, a surround sound system is the best option, but if you do not have surround sound, it’s really not that big of a deal. ” ; br />
standard definition cable channels give the best I have ever seen in an HDTV. I was not expecting much since it is a 46 ” HDTV so I SD viewing would be slightly painful, of course I was pleasantly surprised. I have not read a review saying that the TV has an internal upscaler, but I could not produce any evidence of this via Amazon and specifications of Samsung’s official website. TV DOES have an internal ATSC tuner allows the TV to receive and decode digital television transmissions from your local television stations over the airwaves via “rabbit ear antenna.

HD of course is phenomenal, I’ve never really been able to tell much difference between 60 Hz and 120 Hz, and certainly not cost justifiable for sure IMO.

I have a referral on this TV is the lack of inputs. Sony seems to be the king in this department, in my experience. He has a lot of HDMI inputs (3) However, there is only 1 component and 1 composite. Certainly, you can buy components and switches to build the composite input capacity but of course it’s just one or two things you have to deal with. Nowadays, almost everything is HDMI anyways it is probably not a problem in your case.

consider all the cost and the fact super saver shipping only took 2 days for delivery, I give this TV 4. 8 stars. Minus. 2 for lack of abundant component and composite.

We recently replaced an old-style tube TV with this Samsung 46 “HDTV and are very pleased with our purchase. The image is incredibly sharp and colors are well balanced. Reflections near windows are virtually nonexistent and the display off-axis provides no significant deterioration in quality is a big plus. The only marginal aspect of this HDTV is its internal speakers which provide very limited voice and music quality. Using stereo or separate components of his film home is highly recommended. Overall a great TV!

For 1099 the price and quality is incredible 60,000:1 Crystal clear picture even use the antenna for HDTV sound with speakers in the construction was good, do not let the price fool you. It’s just awesome. . I have this TV about a month now no problems so far. And do not worry about 120 MHz thing you did not even notice if there is a difference.

I saved money for my intro to the world right HDTV for 18 months. I originally went with a 40 “TV and eyeing a Sony, the KDL 40S4100 (later replaced by 40S5100). Later, I decided I would put the TV in a different room and tried to 46″ TV. Once the settlement of the 46 “size, and with my budget, I wanted an inexpensive one that looked crisp, but perhaps not all the features I was not used before when even a standard TV . I expect to pass automatically with the 46 “version of the Sony model I was turned on. After watching the TV in stores yet, the Samsung LN46B530 stuck as the best color and image crispest of TV in this price range / range of functionality. The Sony seems a little dull next to the color of Samsung in the shops, although it seemed to depend on which store I was and how they were connected. My brother has the LN46B650 which is 120Hz, but I do not want to spend $ 400 more. I took my chances with the LN46B530 and 60Hz.

I have had this TV for about a month now and have no complaints. I’ve had about a week before getting the HD receiver and was worried I’d be disappointed even after HD was plugged, but it is really night and day.
I watch mostly sports on him and especially the hockey sport. I have not seen hockey 120Hz vs 60Hz side by side, I have nothing to compare, but I do not feel like I lack something to watch sports on 60Hz. I read some reviews on this TV when they had some problems with certain inputs, etc., but I have no problems whatsoever (however, it only has 1 month).
< br /> One aspect I like is the swivel feature since my room is setup where some seats were not a true corner directly on the TV. It was easy to set up very quickly. If I had to climb that wall, I suppose the absence of any input side would be negative, but I did not wall mount.
