iCub Baby Robot About To Take Developmental Training - Not a Real Kid Yet
University of Plymouth, UK is undertaking a research project which involves a baby-bot named iCub actually learn how to speak. The 3 Foot robot will help researchers deduce how language is taught, but the further reaching impact of the study include the prospect of developing humanoid robots that can learn, think and talk.
